A Night at the Musicals is next week!
Get ready for a glorious evening of songs
The gorgeous Théâtre Molière in Matonge is ready to welcome you and we are so excited to share with you A Night at the Musicals on Tuesday 21 June. During the evening, our four singers will lead you through the high drama of musical theatre, through hummable tunes and rich four-part harmony.
The show is a wonderful way to spend an early summer evening before the holidays begin and is suitable for all the family. We will, of course, also have a bar where you can purchase refreshments and chat to fellow theatre fans.
We are looking forward to seeing at you there!
A Night at the Musicals
8pm, Tuesday 21 June
Théâtre Molière (if you haven’t been before, the theatre is located within the shopping arcade with entrances by Cinema Vendôme on one side and Basic Fit on the other.)
Welcome to the future Bridge Theatre!
…at least that is what we would have liked to be telling you in this update. Unfortunately, though, it was not to be and the venue that we had spent over two months working towards fell through at the last moment! We were deeply disappointed, especially because we had lined up a thrilling programme of six fantastic pieces of contemporary theatre to connect you through culture for our first season.
Onwards…
So, although we won’t be able to bring you the top quality productions we would have liked in September, we will continue to offer you the opportunity to get involved through our various Workshops. We will be releasing details of these soon.
At the same time, we are continuing our hunt for a suitable location. So if you have connections to real estate agents, property developers or private landlords with a location that might be suitable, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
Co-Creating for Conferences
The Bridge Theatre recently provided a tailor-made play for the Networks Overcoming Antisemitism conference in which they presented a scorecard for Belgium. Our play, which showed the realities of Jewish life in Belgium, was the result of a process of co-creation between The Bridge Theatre and the Networks and featured three local actors. By getting us involved, the conference organisers provided a much more vivid and more enjoyable experience for the participants than a standard conference format.
This was an incredibly rewarding experience for all involved and we are keen to repeat the experience and continue to show how theatre and storytelling can simultaneously augment understanding on a variety of topics, while also providing enjoyment and food for the soul.
Are you interested to explore how we may be able to help bring your conference alive? Please don’t hesitate to start the conversation → partnerships@thebridge.brussels.
