Feel Inspired by our Post-Show Talks
At The Bridge Theatre, we aspire to overcome fragmentation and polarisation by connecting people together through the performing arts and through ideas on globally relevant topics.
As such, we see our plays as a platform to have a wider discussion among our audience of policy makers, critical thinkers and arts lovers about the topics raised in the play. GROUNDED poses relevant questions about the ways in which we work today and the role that technology plays.
To provide food for this conversation, we have curated a series of post-show discussions to explore how technology is changing work in different fields and professions, from the military to journalism, from theatre to diplomacy.
Each Post-Show Talk will last 30-45 minutes and they take place directly after the play. So, when the play ends, feel free to grab a drink from the wonderful bar at Full Circle and join us for a chance to put your questions to experts in their specific field.
Panelists include Adeline Torcol, Maria Peteinoudi, Hendrik de Smedt, Stef de Paepe, Roel van den Sigtenhorst, Myriam Broeders, Dave Keating and Alexandros Yannis.
Full details of our speakers, as well as the calendar of their appearances can be found on our website.
We’re off to Leuven
We are delighted to have been asked back by Sint-Pieterscollege, Leuven, to take part in their Modern Languages Day.
For one morning this week, four of our Belgium-based actors – Edward, Jade, Michelle and Rozana – will introduce 200 16-year-olds to Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet through drama exercises to improve their confidence in spoken English.
Think your school might benefit from adding some theatricality into the curriculum? Get in touch with us and we can co-create a workshop that fits your needs.
