This Saturday: Comedy at the Studio
Our Saturday Nights at the Studio continues this coming Saturday 26 April with a Comedy Night!
Hosted by Bridge community member, Kym Nelson, we promise more than just stand-up, with a varied bag of laughs for your Saturday evening, featuring
⭐ Kym Nelson (MC) - A character comedian who blends storytelling, clowning, interpretive eyebrow work, and just enough dramatic posing to confuse a yoga instructor.
⭐ Ariane - A passionate language nerd, her dream is to perform stand-up in as many languages as possible. She has already performed in French, English, Dutch, Spanish and Hungarian.
⭐ Billy Kissa - A Greek actress and comedian. She started doing comedy because a random person once told her she was hilarious.
⭐ Frank Zi Wang - Has burst onto the Belgian comedy scene fully suited and (often) with a tequila in hand, Frank recounts his shenanigans from culture shock to dating mishaps.
⭐ Julian Gypens - A contemporary dancer, Julian brings a blend of whimsical stories, queer politics and the telling of jokes through the body.
⭐ Laurien Vereecken - She just dropped her debut novel and is on a mission to make every moment funny— and no topic is off-limits.
⭐ Michele Marini - Describes himself as a scientist in the middle of a 30’s life crisis. He lives between Rome and Brussels and started doing comedy because the fridge was empty, like his emotional life. Fortunately, the beer helps with both.
⭐ Sam Kiebooms - He's been playing comedy for a while, and 5 out of 5 of his psychologists rated it "probably a great idea".
⭐ Sebastian Temlett - A fan of absurdist and non-sequitur humour, he's finding his voice in the Brussels comedy scene, one weird show at a time.
Doors open at 19:30 and the show kicks off a 20:00. The bar will be open, serving a selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as ice cream!
Join us for an eclectic mix of stand-up, improv, character sketches—and even a dancer who fuses movement and comedy in the most surprising ways!
