Relive Vincent River
Our series of Saturday Nights at the Studio kicks off this coming Saturday 1 February with an exclusive screening of Vincent River – our first production from 2021.
Starring Jo Castleton (currently appearing in the National Theatre’s War Horse) and Jake McDaid (who won multiple awards for his role in the popular web series FRIED), Vincent River is a thrilling, heartbreaking and darkly humorous exploration of hate crime and society's fear of ‘the other’.
Discover the production that started everything or just come to enjoy it again!
Our unique screening will be introduced by our Artistic Director, Edward McMillan, who will give insights into the production process and will be on hand to answer your questions on the play or our productions in general.
This screening of Vincent River is part of our new series of events: Saturday Nights at the Studio. Twice a month, we will host different events to get you theatrically connected with other members of the community.
Helping colleagues become Upstanders to workplace microaggressions
Earlier this month, we had the privilege of leading an immersive training session for the law firm Liedekerke on how we can all help to limit microaggressions in the workplace.
With the help of six professional actors, our facilitators led participants on an exploration of microaggressions and how small interventions can make a big difference.
Our microaggressions training is just one of a number of immersive roleplay training courses that we run. Other popular courses include are our Stand Up Against Harassment training and our ManagerLab. Our immersive training courses move beyond simple information exchange to engage your team on a whole new level.
Winter Workshop Social Event
Thank you to all of you who came to our Winter Workshop Social Event on Saturday 18 January. It was a great night and we were blown away by the talent on display at our karaoke! For those who couldn’t make it, check out the video below to see what you missed out on:
Our workshop socials events take place twice a year (usually January and July) and are simply that: a way for workshop participants to connect doing something other than Meisner exercises or learning dance technique.
Missed this one? See you at the next!
It’s been a minute since I’ve revisited the topic of micro aggression so this is a welcomed find. Thanks-
