Give Us Your Click
There are just a few days to cast your vote in this year’s Visit.Brussels awards. We have been nominated as a contender for the Audacious New Project 2021 Award. The public vote will determine which projects get through to the jury stage. The Awards Ceremony will take place on 21 April 2022.
Our category has some other fantastic projects, so it is going to be a tough competition. But you can increase our chances of getting through this round with a simple little click. Please take a moment to vote for us now!
Thanks to all of you who have already voted. Your support is truly appreciated!
Workshops, Workshops, Workshops
We are all about the Workshops at the moment.
We are already halfway through the winter term of our Weekend Workshops in which participants get one hour each of acting, singing and dance instruction on a Sunday morning. They are using West Side Story as the basis for their showcase that we will perform in front of friends and family in March.
And our ACT Workshops continue apace, with participants trying their hand at Shakespeare in this coming Monday’s workshop. Don’t forget, we offer flexible registration for our ACT Workshops so it is not too late to get involved.
If you have any questions on our Workshops or think you might like to get involved yourself, feel free to drop us an email to info@thebridge.brussels.
Our New Base
As our small team grows, we are taking steps towards finding better ways to work together. That is why we have decided, in partnership with Pali Pali, to join the creative and social impact community at the Grand Hospice in central Brussels.
Grand Hospice is a former care facility that will one day be transformed into housing. However, for the moment, Brussels is allowing small organisations, such as ourselves, to use the building on a temporary basis to transform it into a cultural and community hub. You can find out which projects are currently involved here: https://www.grand-hospice.brussels/projets/.
In addition to the creative organisations and individuals working there, they also have a lovely cafe onsite and two large courtyards, which will be the perfect post-work retreat once summer arrives. If you are in central Brussels, please do stop by and say hello!
