The Revolution starts this Summer!
As summer approaches, you may be beginning to wonder what you are going to do in the final week of August! Never fear: The Bridge Theatre has the answer.
Join us for five days of musical theatre madness at our Summer Workshop 2022 between 22 and 26 August in central Brussels!
Our Summer Workshop is for all theatre enthusiasts aged 10-18-years-old. We will be acting. We will be singing. And we will be dancing.
You can get a taste of what we got up to last year in the video below.
This year, our inspiration is Matilda the Musical. It has some cracking music, some hilarious characters and even some magical moments! That is why, we will also be including a magic masterclass during our week, led by Patrick Kurota, as well as a clowning masterclass, led by the extremely talented Rudi Galindo.
This is going to be a week you don’t want to miss. But don’t take our word for it, check out what our participants said about our Summer Workshop 2021. 👇
What was the best thing about the Workshop?
“The atmosphere and the feeling of being a team!”
“Making new friends and singing along to great songs.”
“The fact that we were just a big group of passionate people.”
And a view from a parent…
“Meeting the kids at the level they were at without any judgement and encouraging & inspiring them to perform no matter their initial level of confidence. And making it FUN! And inspiring a sense of collective endeavour and support for each other. The teachers were fantastic.”
Dig, Dig, Digs…for The Bridge Theatre
Do you have a spare room in your house? Are you interested in meeting artistic people? Do you live within 30 minutes of the city centre by public transport?
If the answers to the above three questions are all YES, we would love to hear from you!
We are now beginning to compile a database of people who could host our casts and creative teams when they come to Brussels. Our creatives will be staying in Brussels for periods of two weeks and up to three months.
Hosting one of our creatives is a great way to support The Bridge Theatre. Through doing so you will not only connect to the wider Bridge community, but you will also get a fascinating insight into the lives of freelance theatre practitioners!
We invite anyone who is interested to fill out the form below. Please do feel free to forward it to friends and neighbours!
