Get Musical on Sundays
Registration is now open for the new intake of our weekend Musical Theatre Workshop, which begins on 16 January 2023.
Our Musical Theatre Workshop comprises 10 Sunday morning sessions that will energise your body and soul. Each week, you get an hour of singing, an hour of acting and an hour of dance tuition led by our cracking team of creatives.
We have two levels: beginners and intermediates; and the Workshop is open to all ages, as long as you are 14 or over.
As in previous terms, we will use a famous Broadway show as our focus. We will be announcing this term’s focus very soon. All we can tell you for now is that is a hilarious and touching show that is filled with feel-good music!
We are limited due to space in the numbers we can accept. So don’t delay: fill out our registration form today to reserve your spot!
And something a little more serious
…only a little more serious, that is.
Our ACT Workshops are back from January. This time taking place in Grand Hospice on Sundays.
Our ACT Workshops give you the opportunity to have acting classes, without the weekly commitment of a full programme. We have nine sessions lined up this side of Easter, everything from how to use your spoken voice in a healthy and expressive manner, to how to build a character and how to act for camera.
Our ACT Workshops take place on Sundays, 4pm - 7pm and we kick of the season by exploring the genre of Film Noir with Desi on 15 January.
How to be an Actor
This month’s podcast episode has dropped. In the latest episode of How to Build a Theatre, Phil and Edward discuss what life as an actor is like behind the glitz and glam with South African actress, Michelle Scott.
