A New Term of Workshops for you
We are delighted to announce that our new Workshops selection for September has now been launched! Thanks to new venue partnership, we are able to expand our offer and we hope you will find something that is right for you.
For those who want to dip their toes into a subject without the commitment of a full course, we have our ACT Workshops; one-off masterclasses in a diverse range of acting genres. If you are looking for something to develop your performance skills, how about trying out our brand new 8-week SCENES Workshop? It’s perfect for those that want to develop their character-building skills. Not interested in performing but want to feel the warm buzz and fun of theatre, then our CONNECT Workshop is for you.
For those of you interested in joining our PLAY Workshop, you’ll have to wait until January before the next session opens. You can pre-register your interest here.
One skill area where we see great need in this city is in helping people with their spoken voice. This is a skill that helps elevate your performing potential on stage, but it is also fully useful for your professional life, too. That is why we have developed our SPEECHES Workshop; a five-week course that focuses on the spoken voice. And if a group setting is too intimidating, we also offer private one-to-one sessions too.
For those of you who like music, our signature Musical Theatre Workshop is back, this term focusing on Hairspray. And we will again gather together a community choir in our SING Workshop, with the aim to bring the joy of musical theatre to the elderly in small concerts in their homes.
You can find out more about our full range of Workshops this autumn term via our website.
Don’t Stick to the Status Quo
We are going High School Musical crazy this month as our Summer School approaches. 30 young performers, 5 full days, 3 expert instructors, 2 unique masterclasses and 1 final performance.
We still have spaces for just a few more eager thespians. So if you haven’t joined us before and you are not sure whether this is for you, just remember the immortal words of High School Musical leading couple, Troy and Gabriella:
Don’t stick to the stuff you know.
If you wanna go far, got to reach for your star.
Just follow your dreams and go!
Don’t stick to the status quo!
It’s your last chance to secure your place, so please register without delay!
Stay tuned for November
On the back of the enormous success of Lungs, we are already lining up a brand new Bridge original production for you for this autumn. As with all our productions to date, this will be a new creation, especially designed for a Brussels audience.
Our November production will explore the juxtaposition of two very different worlds that we all know very well: the world of work versus the world of home. In a post-Covid age, where we all struggle to delineate between the professional and the personal, our upcoming play will show one woman’s struggle to balance these two worlds.
Stay tuned, we will be divulging more details soon!
