Talent from the West End and Drag Race arrive in Brussels
Rehearsals for our November production, Radiant Vermin by Philip Ridley, have just started at our Studio in St Gilles and we are excited to share with you details of who is in the rehearsal room!
Playing Jill, our strong-willed, ambitious and highly aspirational mother, is Matilda Tucker. A graduate of LAMDA, Matilda made her West End debut in 2022 in Rob Icke’s production of THE DOCTOR. The production subsequently transferred to New York. Matilda can also be seen in the US TV series, Dangerous Liaisons, as well as the 2023 Wonka film, starring Timothée Chalamet.
Playing Ollie, our clever, trustworthy, hardworking, practical and loyal father, is Santino Smith. A native Scot, Santino trained at Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. He spent the summer playing alongside Dominic West in Arthur Miller’s A View from Bridge in the West End, and has also been seen in several roles in BBC dramas.
Joining our young parents is the wise and magnificent, Miss Dee, who will be brought to life by Sederginne. This Belgian drag artists rose to prominence on the first season of Drag Race Holland. Her infectious humour and energy will be put to good use as she once agains treads the boards in a scripted piece of theatre.
