Discover more drama with our new Playreading Workshops
In May and June, we will run a six-week series of Playreading Workshops. These Wednesday evening sessions are for people with an interest in discovering the work of some of the greatest English-language playwrights of the 20th Century. For one session at a time we will discover works by Beckett, Pinter, Shepard, Churchill, Crimp and Mamet. We will learn how to read them, how to interpret them and how to perform them.
The Workshop is led by Francesco Bianchi, a writer and translator of theatre in his own right, with plenty of directing experience in Italy.
Our Playreading Workshops are for people who want to enjoy a deeper connection with text-based drama and who want to get to know some of the greatest influences on modern-day anglophone theatre.
Just as with our ACT Workshops, we have a flexible registration system, meaning you can sign up for just one or all six. It’s your choice!
One Week to go until the New Term!
Having put our winter term Weekend Workshoppers through their paces last term, we will soon begin a brand new term of our Weekend Workshops and you are invited to join us! Our spring term will be focused on competence-building, with our instructors focusing on skills such as character-building, use of space, harmony singing and much more.
We run our Weekend Workshops to be as inclusive and friendly as possible. Our aim is to build your confidence in the performing arts so that you feel comfortable doing things you never thought you would do, like singing in front of people or learning choreography.
We have two separate groups: one for 13-18s and one for adults of all ages!
You can sign up for these fun sessions now! Not sure if it is for you? Feel free to drop us an email (info@thebridge.brussels) or phone Edward on +32485457038.

Summer at The Bridge Theatre
Three unique productions. Three unforgettable Workshops. That is what we are working hard to bring you this summer.
In terms of what you can see at The Bridge Theatre, in June we have plans for a fireside chat with a fabulous actor-turned-activist-turned-politician; a moving autobiographical spoken documentary; and a dazzling Night at the Musicals.
And as we move into the summer holidays, we want to get you involved. For those who love acting, try and book a day off on Friday 8 July and join us for a full-weekend immersion Acting Workshop on 8-10 July. We are also working to put together a full-weekend musical theatre immersion workshop for all ages in July.
And for the younger subscribers among you, we are delighted that our incredibly popular Summer Musical Theatre Workshop will be back at the end of August (22nd - 26th). We will be releasing more details of this soon. But in case you can’t wait, you can get a taste of what they got up to last year in this video.
