Say hello to spring with our workshops!
A new term of The Bridge Theatre Workshops is coming and there's no better way to shake off the winter blues with some theatre fun. The term starts already this coming Sunday 7 April so make sure you register now to not miss out!
Here are some highlights:
We have some brand new ACT Workshops this term and we introduce Charlie to the team, who is a graduate of the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Don’t forget these are one-off workshops that take place on Sunday evenings with no longer term commitment.
In our Sunday morning Musical Theatre Workshop, we are getting into the Greek island mood with 10-weeks focused on Mamma Mia!
Don’t miss our wonderful CONNECT Workshop – an unforgettable opportunity to gain confidence in who you are and connect with others and yourself in a unique way.
And finally, we have just had one spot open up on the April-May session of our SPEECHES Workshop. This five-week course to gain confidence in public speaking always sells out, so don’t miss your chance to sign up!
Calling all 10-18 year olds: Get Footloose with us this Summer
Registration is now open for our 2024 Summer School! Our Summer School is five fun-filled days of acting, singing and dance tuition, culminating in a showcase to family and friends on the final day.
This year, the hit musical Footloose will form the basis of our work. Footloose is a high-energy musical that follows the story of Ren McCormack, a teenager from Chicago who moves to a small town where dancing has been banned. Fueled by his passion for dance and rebellion against the restrictive laws, Ren leads his peers in challenging the status quo, ultimately bringing about change and a newfound sense of freedom to the community. With fantastic music to sing and dance, this musical is guaranteed to bring a smile to your faces.
Our Summer School takes place 19-23 August at Grand Hospice in central Brussels and is open to all aged 10-18.
BeTheBridge in Brussels
We are looking for even more schools for our innovative BeTheBridge project, funded by the Brussels-Capital Region.
Through this project, we are able to connect pupils from schools with different curriculum languages through a drama-based workshop. In our session, the students will encounter peers who live in this city but with whom they might not otherwise get the chance to interact.
We are particularly keen to make contact with English or drama teachers.
The students themselves should be secondary age (ideally 15-16) and might learn in French, Dutch, English or any other language (or combination of languages). So, if you know teachers in a French-language Belgian school, a Dutch-language Belgian school, a European school or an International school, please forward them this email or ask them to reach out to us directly → info@thebridge.brussels.
Save the dates: 6 June – 22 June
