Don’t miss the debut of our bold new production – 855-FOR-TRUTH
Tickets are now on sale for 855-FOR-TRUTH, a stunningly sharp and tender new play set deep in the forest, with the end of the world looming overhead.
Written by Eva Hudson and directed by Lydia McKinley, the story follows two strangers on opposite ends of belief: Meredith, a devout teenager raised in an isolated religious community, awaiting the Rapture; and Isaac, a young climate scientist, clinging to data and desperate hope in the face of ecological collapse. When their paths collide, what begins as an unlikely meeting slowly unfolds into something deeply human — a conversation about faith, survival, and what connection looks like when time is running out.
855-FOR-TRUTH is a play that asks what we hold onto when everything else is falling away. With razor-sharp writing, dark humour, and moments of startling tenderness, it explores the tension between science and belief, fear and trust, and the fragile possibility of understanding across difference.
Catch this original production by The Bridge Theatre, in co-production with Gentlewomen Production House, for two weeks only from 2–14 June at Berger Court, Stassart House in Ixelles; an intimate setting perfect for this charged, thought-provoking story.
Stick around after selected performances for our Post-Show Talks around the theme of Finding Connection in a Polarised World — a space for deeper conversations around the play’s themes.
