Have your say on our Workshops
This term’s Workshops are off to a flying start, with sold-out Musical Theatre and ACT Workshops.
Missed out? Don’t worry! We still have some places left for a few of our ACT Workshops and we are already lining up more Workshops for the Spring Term.
Alongside our Musical Theatre and ACT Workshops, we are considering introducing a few other formats and we would like your opinion!
All of these new Workshops have been inspired by your suggestions. Due to the availability of rooms, these Workshops will likely run on Sundays, as of mid-April 2023.
In PLAY Workshops, participants will immerse themselves in the world of a play. Through acting exercises and scene study, they will work towards a showcase for friends and family at the end of this 10-week course (2 hours per week).
In Show Choir, participants will learn songs from the world of musical theatre, to be performed in free concerts for the community, such as in retirement homes.
In SPEECHES Workshops, participants will learn the fundamentals of good speaking technique through vocal exercises. This six-week course (2 hours per week) will culminate in an on-camera recording of participants reenacting a famous speech from history.
If you like the sound of any of these, please let us know by completing the form linked below.
Immersive Training for your team
We at The Bridge Theatre believe in the transformative effect of the performing arts. And that’s why we offer immersive learning opportunities for organisations.
By incorporating scenes acted out live by our professional actors, our training courses enable participants to experience the learning in an active manner: instead of passively taking in material, as in usual training courses, participants get the opportunity to try out what they have learnt in a simulated setting. This active use aids retention and ultimately leads to better learning outcomes.
We currently offer training courses in workplace inclusion and bystander intervention to harassment. If you would like to explore whether one of these would be a good fit for your organisation or if you have another idea for an immersive training programme, please get in contact! We would be happy to discuss further.

Keeping it Social
Last Thursday, participants of various Bridge Theatre Workshops gathered in Amalgame Karaoke bar in central Brussels to sing their hearts out and celebrate the new year together.
Thanks you to all of you who made it. It was a very fun evening and one that will be repeated soon!
Become a host!
Finally, we are looking to build a pool of people who could host our traveling creatives in their homes for a period of a few days to a few weeks. Could this be you? If you are someone who likes to be around creative professionals and you have a spare room at home, then please help us by giving us your details. If we think there is a match, we will get in contact with you with specific requests.
