Weekend Workshops begin 25 September
Plus: workshops for young people and an update on our venue search
Chicago the Musical is our inspiration for this term’s Weekend Workshops
Chicago is a 1975 American musical with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. Set in Chicago in the jazz age, the story is a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice and the concept of the "celebrity criminal." The 1996 Broadway revival is the second longest-running show ever to run on Broadway, behind only The Phantom of the Opera.
The 2002 film version brought the musical to many for the first time and we are delighted to get stuck into the iconic songs and stories that have delighted so many over the decades
Our Weekend Workshops take place on Sunday mornings at Studio Empain (Rue de la Presse 9, Brussels 1000). The Workshops are open to all ages and we divide you into two groups, according to level and ability.
Our term runs for 10 weeks until Christmas and starts on Sunday 25 September. It is essential to register in advance and you can find the registration form at the bottom of our dedicated webpage.
Come and join us for ten weeks of Razzle Dazzle!

Reminder: Let us know what you think!
Do you have children? Are you wanting to see them grow in confidence? Are you looking for activities for them to do in English? If yes, then you may be interested in helping us to shape our Workshops for them.
We love leading workshops for young people and we have many ideas for future workshops, but we are currently taking a breather from running them in order to solicit your input on how we can better shape them so that we are providing something that fits your wishes.
So, we would be ever so grateful if you could spend five minutes filling in our short survey. Your opinion matters and will help us to better tailor future workshops to your wishes.
Update on our Venue Quest
We continue to search high and low for a suitable venue in which to present our activities. We are liaising with various municipalities, private landlords, property development companies, other nonprofits and, well, pretty much anyone who may have knowledge of vacant spaces.
Unfortunately, we have still not found a suitable space; one that is large enough, safe enough and cheap enough to accommodate our audience of theatre-lovers on a medium-term basis.
So, if you are a property owner or know of a property owner who has a vacant space in Brussels (even temporarily), then please do get in contact with us, either via email or as a comment to this post. We love exploring new spaces and, who knows, you may play a crucial part in establishing a new theatre for Brussels.
