What's next at The Bridge Theatre?
School’s IN for Summer
Get ready for the best week of your summer at our Summer School 2023!
The Bridge Theatre Summer School is for all 10-18-year-olds with a passion for being on stage. Participants get to be immersed through five days of performing arts rehearsals and tuition in acting, singing and dance, working towards a final showcase for friends and family.
Let our expert and friendly creative team - Abbie, Heidi and Bia - build your skills and confidence, while you get the chance to meet other theatre enthusiasts from Brussels’ global community. We cater for participants of all language backgrounds!
This year’s work will be based on High School Musical, a show with catchy tunes and a heart-warming story of star-crossed lovers.
But that’s not all! Our Summer School also includes two specialist one-off masterclasses for you to try out your skills in something completely different. This year, you will begin to love the drama that is in Shakespeare with Jonathon who has designed his masterclass especially for young people. And in addition, you will get to push your physical skills in our Cheerleading masterclass with Eric, in partnership with Brussels’ own Cheerleading team, Ultimate Cheer.
So Getcha Head in the Game and come join us 21 - 25 August at Grand Hospice in central Brussels! You’ll be Breakin’ Free in no time.
Places are going fast, so make sure you register soon to avoid disappointment.
And for those of you who are over 18, our weekly Workshops will be back in September. We will continue our current selection (Musical Theatre, ACT, PLAY, SING) and we will be adding some next exciting options into the mix. We will bring you more details soon!
Loved Lungs? Want more?
We have been overwhelmed by the positive audience reactions from those of who were lucky enough to have seen Lungs. Many of you have told us your personal stories about the impact of seeing the play, from provoking deep conversations between friends to affecting the course of entire relationships! Creating real-world impact on people’s lives is why we do what we do.
And we are working hard behind the scenes to bring you more fantastic theatre, like Lungs and Vincent River.
If you like what we are doing and would like to see more, please consider making a donation. Your support will help us to keep working towards giving Brussels more professional theatre productions in English.
You may also want to consider becoming a patron of The Bridge Theatre. By doing so, you will have a lasting impact on the development of The Bridge Theatre, while also being eligible for exclusive benefits.
