Workshops Special: Get involved this Spring
Unique Creative Workshop for Kids
Saturday 25 March, 09:30 - 12:00, Uccle | For under 12s
At The Bridge Theatre we love exploring new ways of connecting through culture. As such, we have partnered with Red Moon Art Incubator to organise a unique creativity workshop for a small group of children aged 6-12 years old.
The session will explore links between the two art forms of painting and theatre. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the artists who are displaying their work and discover the techniques they use in their work. They will be guided by Desislava Krsteva, a Brussels-based actor with plenty of experience with children. During the workshop, kids will create their own puppets for theatre (using the techniques demonstrated by the two painters) and will be able to recreate some of the most magical tales and legends of South Asia.
Don’t delay: we only have ten places available for this special workshop. The exact location will be communicated to participants.
New Workshops for Adults
Our new term kicks off on 16 April. In addition to our Musical Theatre and ACT Workshops, we have added two brand new Workshops for you to enjoy!
PLAY Workshop
A course of ten sessions on Monday evenings for those who want to dive deeper into the world of acting. The Workshop gives participants who already have some stage experience the opportunity to further develop their skills by exploring the world of one play. This term our focus is Constellations by Nick Payne, a play that explores how even the smallest change in our lives can dramatically alter the course we take. The term will culminate in a showcase for invited friends and family.
SING Workshop
A set of seven sessions on Sunday afternoons to begin forming a group with the aim to make informal performances in community settings. Learn some of the best songs from the world of Musical Theatre and sing them together in a show choir.
Perhaps you like musicals but don’t feel like dancing and acting? Then this for you! This Workshop is aimed at those with a musical ear, but the ability to read music is not necessary.
Of course, we also have new ACT Workshops for you, as well as our continually popular Musical Theatre Workshop.
And for the parents among you, don’t forget to save the date for our Summer School 2023: Monday 21 August - Friday 25 August. If you want to be cool, follow one simple rule: don’t stick to the status quo…
